As President of the Mount de Sales Academy Board of Trustees, Nora Reiter is responsible for a majority of the new projects in the school such as the Strategic Plan Initiative, construction of the new convent, HVAC installation, and future construction of a new sports field beginning June 2012.
“She has a devotion to the full experience the students receive here at Mount de Sales, which drives her in everything she does. She lives the mission of the school, and it really is who she is,” said Mr. Mark Cohagan, Director of Operations.
In 1970, as a senior, Nora Coakley Reiter was the chairman of the Art and Photography Staff, and worked at a soda-shop to pay her own way through high school. Her daughter Marie Reiter, graduate of the Mount de Sales class of 2008, was also a member of the photography club.
Mrs. Reiter is a Catonsville native. She not only devotes her time to helping Mount de Sales, but also works as the Pastoral Associate and Business Manager at St. Mark parish in Catonsville.
“Mount de Sales is one of the best gifts God has ever given to Maryland. It does so many wonderful things,” said Mrs. Reiter.
