The 14 members of concert choir were featured on WMAR ABC2’s Saturday morning show, “Good Morning Maryland.” They went to the news station on Thursday, December 8, the feast of the Immaculate Conception. Accompanied by Jeff Hosier, Director of Music, and Courtney Gahagan, Director of Communications, the girls were on set from 8am to 12pm. They sang carols from their Christmas concert including “Noël” and “Good King Kong.”
“It was really exciting to perform on TV,” said senior Xandra Harrison. “It was good practice for our show.”
Mr. Hosier was interviewed on the show and discussed the concert choir class and their upcoming concert. The show aired Saturday on December 10 at 7am.
