With the first phase of the Capital Campaign, the school board has decided to get a jump-start on the second phase. Starting with over $6,000, the phase is to turn the natural grass field into a regulation size, astro-turf field and insert stadium seating.
Sister Philip Joseph, along with Emily Sipes, Caroline Butler and Emily Zalucki unveiled the vision of the field and seating to the entire school on December first. The girls represented the three sports that will share the field: Soccer, Field Hockey, and Lacrosse.
The field is supposed to begin the day after the lacrosse season ends.
