NMHS decorates board for National Math Month

National Math Honors Society redecorates a board in the B side second floor hallway every month, and since March 14 (3.14) is Pi Day, this is math month!

The club's sponsor, Miss Wills, had the idea for a board containing sign up sheets for various activities, such as nonograms, a scavenger hunt, and more. The events take place in the side cafeteria after school, and food and snacks are provided.

There is also a riddle of the week and the class with the most correct answers receives a spirit point. There are a total of four spirit points on the line, and the junior class is currently in the lead.
Sophomores in Mr. Posner's Honors Algebra II F block brought in various pies and desserts to celebrate.

Seniors Cierra O’Keefe and Christine Leimkuhler were in charge of dressing up the board during lunch last friday. They chose an attention-grabbing purple background and added flower sickers and a glittery border.

"These activities are alot of fun. You get to spend time with your friends and have a chance at earning spirit points" said Christine '12.
